Assignment Description
SketchbookStudents are asked to observe and paint 4 watercolor palettes a week.The sources can be from life; vegetables at the farmers market, autumnleaves, your boyfriends shirt. Or the media; beautiful rooms in amagazine and the everyday world; your metro card, cereal boxes, a T.V.show interior. The assignment is meant to strengthen color sensitivity,gain an understanding of the idea of a "palette, and develop a rigorousapproach to seeing in the abstract.
